Ben Black (MA, MFA) teaches English and creative writing in the Bay Area and is also an assistant fiction editor at AGNI magazine. His short stories have been published in Best Microfiction 2022, The Southampton Review, New American Writing, The Cream City Review, Harpur Palate and The Los Angeles Review. His stories have been finalists for the Prairie Schooner Book Prize, the Calvino Prize, the Omnidawn Fabulist Fiction Chapbook Contest and the Fairy Tale Review Award in Prose.
